Description of Job Duties

- Lead camp curriculum and lessons focused on science, technology, engineering and math (S.T.E.M)

- Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff.

- Active compliance with all rules and regulations established for the camp and campers.

- Knowledgeable of all policies and rules and assist in enforcement.

- Monitor and ensure appropriate student behavior and adherence to the dress code.

- Facilitate the supervision of campers during lunch and snack breaks.

- Ensure that campers receive their medications as directed by Camp Director.

- Assist in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers in their camper group within activities and throughout the camp in order to meet the intended camper outcomes.

- Modify activities/lessons as needed to better implement within camp structure.

- Prepare materials needed prior to each camp and/or before lesson begins.

- Responsible for clean up after lessons.

- Contribute to weekly counselor meeting.

- Facilitate classroom management techniques.
- Act as a positive role model for the campers.

- Represent the camp when interacting with parents or community members.

- Other duties as assigned.
